Sabina Čudić urges boycott of Bosnia‑Croatia South Interconnection until US high‑rep appointment clarified
Sabina Čudić, president of the Naša stranka, called on coalition partners and opposition parties to refrain from ratifying the inter‑state agreement with Croatia on the South Interconnection until Bosnia and Herzegovina receives a clear plan from the United States regarding the appointment and powers of the new High Representative and the law on state property. Her statement referenced a recent communiqué from the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo, which said internal EU disagreements over the High Representative’s selection prompted a review of the U.S. role in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Čudić emphasized that both investors and administrations must respect the Bosnian constitution and sovereignty, and warned against passive acceptance of U.S. interests in the region. She urged that the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina also not sign any agreement with the American investor until the U.S. plan on the High Representative is transparent.
