Sabine Krusche to present ‘Mikrokosmos’ exhibition in Frankenthal

Sculptor Sabine Krusche will present her solo exhibition, ‘Mikrokosmos’, at the Kunsthaus Frankenthal starting October 30, 2026. The exhibition, which explores the structures and forms of biological cells, will be officially opened by Mayor Dr. Nicolas Meyer on October 29.

The showcase features a variety of media, including lightboxes with drawn cell samples, floating wire objects representing nerve cells, and ceramic works depicting tissue structures. A video installation titled ‘Ursuppe’ uses microscopic animation of a Petri dish set to an electronic composition by Christiane Schmied to depict organic particles in liquid.

Additional works include large ink paintings on canvas, red ink drawings on paper, and photographs of cell forms on glass slides. Krusche, who has led the Municipal Youth Art School in Tuttlingen since 2021, will host a guided tour on November 15 and a discussion session on November 29.
