Sabinus explains why he films comedy skits in Port Harcourt

Nigerian comedian and content creator Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, has explained why he continues to film his comedy skits in Port Harcourt despite being based in Lagos.

In a recent interview with VJ Adams, Sabinus stated that his decision is driven by the specific nature of his storylines, which he believes are better suited to the Port Harcourt environment. While he uses Lagos as a base for networking, building professional connections, and his personal life, he travels to Port Harcourt specifically for production.

Sabinus, who studied Linguistics and Communication Studies at the University of Port Harcourt, noted that the city remains central to his creative process and comedic identity.
