Sabor a Tijuana 2026 food festival launches with 52 exhibitors in Tijuana
The inaugural "Sabor a Tijuana 2026" food festival opened on the weekend of 1‑2 August 2026 in the parking lot of Estadio Caliente, Tijuana. The event showcased 52 exhibitors offering a mix of local and international dishes, artisanal products and culinary demonstrations.
Renowned chefs such as Pablo Carrera, Lula Martín del Campo, Ángel Beltrán and Carolina Jiménez took part, alongside Chilean‑born chef Ariel Cabrera of Patagonia comida chilena, who presented traditional Chilean fare. Additional participants included the Pérez siblings, Gaby and David, and Venezuelan brothers Jimmy and Damián, who prepared a variety of handcrafted sausages.
The festival concluded with a concert by singer Benny Ibarra on Sunday, 2 August, at 20:00, after activities ran from 12:00 to 22:00.
