Sabores del Mundo festival draws 500+ to Jujuy's Cabildo while Peru celebrates independence in Cáceres

More than 500 attendees gathered at the Cabildo in Jujuy, Argentina for the "Sabores del Mundo" cultural festival. Collectives from Peru, Russia, Venezuela, Argentina, Armenia, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Korea, India, Italy and local groups presented traditional foods, music and dances, including Bolivian, Paraguayan, Peruvian, Indian, Italian, Korean, Argentine tango and local folklore. The event was free and aimed to promote dialogue between cultures.

In Cáceres, Spain, the Peruvian community marked the 205th anniversary of Peru’s independence with a weekend celebration organized by the Asociación Conectando a Peruanos en Extremadura (ACPE). The program featured Peruvian music, dances, football, volleyball, and a variety of traditional dishes, welcoming participants from Spain, Colombia, Venezuela, Honduras, Mexico and other Latin American countries. Organizers emphasized cultural exchange and integration of recent Peruvian migrants into Spanish society.
