Sabrina Greco directs “Lockjaw” feature film

Sabrina Greco has written and directed “Lockjaw,” a feature film exploring themes of self-destruction and social chaos. The story follows a young woman named Rayna, who, after a drunk-driving accident, must navigate a night of parties with her jaw wired shut.

Greco designed the character to be “big and bold,” using the physical limitation of the wired jaw to challenge performance expectations. Rather than becoming withdrawn, the protagonist uses heightened physicality and theatricality to express anger and shame. The film stars Blu Hunt, whose performance relies heavily on gesture and facial expression due to the character's inability to communicate through conventional speech.

Shot over 11 days in Los Angeles with a small crew, the production utilized various local settings, including a Hollywood bar and private residences.
