Sabrina Ilski announces pregnancy and departure from morning show

RTL presenter Sabrina Ilski has announced she is pregnant with her second child, expected in early 2027.

Due to legal prohibitions regarding night work for pregnant women, the 38-year-old journalist will step down from her role on the early morning program ‘Deutschland am Morgen’ on RTL and ntv. Ilski, who has been with RTL since 2011, noted that her early morning alarm will no longer ring at 2:00 AM due to the pregnancy.

However, she will continue her work on the magazine ‘Punkt 12’ both in front of the camera and behind the scenes as ‘Chefin vom Dienst’ until her maternity leave begins.
