Sabrina Sato faces lawsuit over Splash Bebidas Urbanas franchise

Brazilian presenter Sabrina Sato is facing a lawsuit involving R$ 170,000 related to her association with the brand Splash Bebidas Urbanas. The legal action was filed by Andressa Lopes Botelho and Luana Bispo Ribeiro following their investment in a Splash Delivery franchise.

The plaintiffs allege that the company misled them regarding technical expertise and promised minimum revenues that were never achieved. They further claim that the investment costs exceeded initial estimates and that the company provided inadequate equipment, insufficient support, and improper royalty charges.

The lawsuit specifically names Sato, alleging she is an active partner rather than just a spokesperson. The plaintiffs argue that her public image was instrumental in their decision to invest, providing credibility to the business model. They are seeking an injunction to prevent the company from applying contractual fines or listing them in credit delinquency registries.
