Sabro villa destroyed in massive overnight fire

A large fire destroyed a villa on Viborgvej in Sabro late Monday night. Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at 11:59 p.m., finding the building already fully engulfed in flames.

According to Østjyllands Brandvæsen operations chief Anders Rathcke, the house was unoccupied, as it had been vacant for some time. This allowed firefighters to focus on containing the fire and preventing it from spreading to surrounding areas.

The intense flames were visible for meters, lighting up the night. Although the fire was brought under control by Tuesday morning, emergency crews remained on-site to monitor smoldering remains within the ruins of the heavily damaged structure.
