SABSEG expands Madeira presence through new partnership and revenue growth

Insurance broker SABSEG has signed a partnership protocol with the public transport company Horários do Funchal to provide various protection solutions to its employees and their families. The agreement, formalized in Funchal, offers access to health, automobile, multi-risk, housing, bicycle, life, and pet insurance through a dedicated digital platform. SABSEG will also provide specialized counseling and administrative support for claims management.

Separately, SABSEG reported that its operations in Madeira have surpassed 12 million euros in turnover. The company currently operates two offices and eight employees in the archipelago. A significant driver of this growth is a 2018 health protocol with the Madeira Regional Government, which covers over 19,000 public sector workers. During a visit to the company's remodeled facilities in Funchal, Regional Government President Miguel Albuquerque noted that the group's scale helps lower market prices, contributing to the region's economic development.
