SAC begins second phase of Catania and Comiso airport privatization

SAC, the company managing the Catania and Comiso airports, has entered the second phase of its privatization process. Following an initial stage that drew 14 expressions of interest, 10 economic operators from both Italy and abroad have been selected to proceed.

Starting in the final week of September, these selected groups will conduct site visits to the airports to gain direct knowledge of the infrastructure and operational activities. This phase serves as preparation for the next step, where participants will submit non-binding economic and industrial proposals by November 12. SAC will evaluate these offers using established criteria and professional advisors.
