Sacha Baron Cohen returns as Ali G in new film trailer

Sacha Baron Cohen has released the first trailer for ‘Ali G: Who Iz I?’, a mockumentary that marks his feature directorial debut. The film serves as a sequel to the 2002 production ‘Ali G Indahouse’, bringing back the iconic London-based character more than two decades after his previous big-screen appearance.

The plot follows Ali G as he discovers his long-term girlfriend, Julie (played by Morgana Robinson), is eight months pregnant. Seeking to reclaim his former glory and provide for his growing family, the character travels to the United States, where he encounters adversaries that threaten his future. The trailer highlights the character's signature style, including interactions with real people and references to modern trends like TikTok.

Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Four By Two Films in association with Working Title Films, the movie is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 23, 2026. The production was reportedly filmed in secret across the United Kingdom and the United States.
