Sacha Coenen narrowly misses MX2 podium at Dutch Grand Prix
At the sixteenth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship held at Motorsportpark Gelderland Midden, Belgian rider Sacha Coenen narrowly missed a podium finish in the MX2 class. Competing on a KTM 250 SX-F, Coenen achieved a 2-4 scorecard, placing fourth overall and tying on points for third.
In the MXGP category, Andrea Adamo secured a sixth-place overall finish riding the KTM 450 SX-F. Simon Laengenfelder also performed well, ranking sixth on the day in Arnhem. Meanwhile, Lucas Coenen was unable to participate in the qualification heat or the remainder of the Grand Prix due to a left hip injury.
The Red Bull KTM team saw strong representation, with all four of their riders maintaining positions within the top six of the world championship standings. The championship season will conclude with a triple header in Turkey, China, and Australia through the end of September.
