Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu highlights versatility for Springboks

Springboks player Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has demonstrated significant versatility and value to the South African national team despite recent scrutiny. Following a three-month absence due to a serious ankle injury that required surgery, Feinberg-Mngomezulu returned to play a full 80 minutes against Argentina in Buenos Aires, transitioning to fullback in the final quarter.

His tactical flexibility allowed coach Rassie Erasmus to shift players during the match, a move that proved successful. Feinberg-Mngomezulu previously holds the record for the most points scored by an individual in a single Test for the Springboks, having scored 37 points against Argentina in Durban in 2025.
