Sacha Pozo prepares for San Gil festival with visit from Mama Antula

The town of Sacha Pozo in the Banda department is preparing for the Fiesta Grande in honor of Nuestro Señor San Gil. A significant addition to this year's festivities is the visit of the pilgrim image of Mama Antula, an Argentine saint, who is expected to arrive at 10:00 AM to bless the faithful.

The event will feature a central mass at 4:00 PM presided over by Father Angelo Introzzi, followed by a traditional procession. The sanctuary will remain open from 6:00 AM until late at night, offering food stalls, artisan stands, games, and lotteries.
