Sacheon to build Youth Culture Center in Sanam Industrial Complex

Sacheon City has been selected for a government-funded project to establish a Youth Culture Center within the Sanam Industrial Complex. The project was chosen through a call for proposals by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy for industrial complex environment improvement.

A total of 5.72 billion KRW will be invested in the project, including 4 billion KRW in national funds. The two-story facility is planned to include a book cafe, bakery, smart unmanned convenience store, workation lounge, and a youth communication lounge on the first floor. The second floor will feature a fitness zone and a multi-purpose GX room designed to support the health and injury prevention of production workers.

Basic and detailed design work is scheduled to begin in December of this year. The city aims to break ground in 2028 and complete the construction by 2029.
