Sachsenring MotoGP Weekend: Italian Talents Shine as Jack Miller Suffers Tire Issue

Italian riders supported by the Pata Talenti Azzurri FMI project posted strong results at the Sachsenring weekend. Luca Lunetta finished tenth in the Moto2 World Championship race, while Josephine Bruno claimed victory in the sole Women’s European Championship event in Brno. Leonardo Lapadula extended his lead in the European Supermoto S2 series, and Gennaro Utech won the Rookies Cup 125 cc race.

Yamaha rider Jack Miller, who had been running eighth, experienced a sudden loss of grip on his rear tyre in the final five laps. He later explained that the tyre degradation forced a change in engine mapping, causing a sharp drop in performance and a finish in sixteenth place. “È stata una buona gara fino a cinque giri dalla fine. Poi è crollato tutto,” Miller said, while fellow rider Luca Marini noted it “sembra avesse un guasto.”
