Sacombank becomes largest holding for PYN Elite Fund

Sacombank (STB) has become the largest holding in the portfolio of the PYN Elite Fund, accounting for 17.7% of its total assets. As of late August 2026, the fund's investment in Sacombank is estimated to be worth over 152 million euros, or approximately 4,600 billion VND, representing roughly 61 million shares.

Sacombank's stock reached a record high of 77,300 VND per share on September 4, contributing to a market capitalization of nearly 146,000 billion VND, a 33% increase since the start of the year.

Other significant holdings in the PYN Elite Fund's portfolio include Hoa Phat (HPG) at 14%, Mobile World Group (MWG) at 9.6%, FPT Corporation at 8.6%, and Vietnam Airlines at 6.3%. The fund's performance saw a 5.5% increase in August, following a market recovery where the VN-Index rose by 5.6%.
