Sacramento State men's soccer suffers losses to Utah Valley and Gonzaga
The Sacramento State men's soccer team has faced consecutive defeats against Utah Valley and Gonzaga University.
In a match against Utah Valley at UCCU Stadium, the Hornets fell 3-0. After a scoreless first half, Utah Valley scored three goals in the second half, including a header by Noah Pogue in the 59th minute and late goals from Oliver Watts and Jose Luis Martin Montealegre. Utah Valley dominated the second half with 12 shots and 11 corners.
In a separate PAC-12 matchup, Sacramento State lost 3-1 to Gonzaga University. Despite Zac Giles scoring an equalizer in the 56th minute to tie the game at 1-1, Gonzaga secured the win.
