Sacred Heart film reaches 900,000 viewers globally
The French documentary-drama film ‘Sacred Heart – His Kingdom Will Have No End’ is expanding its reach following significant global success, attracting approximately 900,000 viewers worldwide despite initial attempts at censorship and advertising restrictions in France.
The film blends dramatized scenes from the final three days of Jesus' life with the 17th-century mystical experiences of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque in Paray-le-Monial. It features theological reflections alongside contemporary testimonies from diverse individuals, including a professional footballer, a former reseller, and people facing neurodegenerative diseases, exploring themes of loneliness, failure, and spiritual meaning.
In Slovenia, the film is being brought to cinemas by the Emanuel Community. Premieres are scheduled for October 6 in Ljubljana at Odiseja and October 13 in Maribor at Maribox, with a wider theatrical release starting October 15.
