Sacred Heart University appoints Jason Prevelige as D.M.Sc. program director
Sacred Heart University has appointed Jason Prevelige as the founding program director for its new Doctor of Medical Science (D.M.Sc.) program. Prevelige, an alumnus of the university, will provide academic, administrative, and strategic leadership for the post-professional doctoral program, overseeing its curriculum, faculty, and growth.
Prevelige brings over 17 years of clinical experience in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and neonatology. He previously served as the assistant medical director in emergency medicine at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. His leadership background includes serving as president and chair of the board of the American Academy of Physician Associates, as well as two terms as president of the Connecticut Academy of Physician Associates.
