Saïd Chanegriha strengthens military ties with Niger and inspects Tindouf hospital

General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of Staff of the Algerian People's National Army, conducted a series of official visits and inspections in Algeria.

In a diplomatic move to strengthen regional security, General Chanegriha received Niger's Minister of National Defense, General Salifou Modi. The meeting focused on reviewing bilateral military cooperation and discussing matters of mutual interest. Both parties emphasized the importance of reinforcing defense and security mechanisms through renewed cooperation between the two neighboring nations.

Additionally, General Chanegriha inspected the construction of a 240-bed university military hospital in Tindouf. During the inspection, he emphasized the necessity of adhering to contractual deadlines and ensuring the facility meets international sanitary standards. The project is part of a broader strategy to improve healthcare coverage and medical services for military personnel and their families in the region.
