The New Orleans Pelicans have agreed to a three-year, $55.5 million contract extension with forward Saddiq Bey. The fully guaranteed deal includes a trade kicker and is set to begin with the 2027-28 season, running through 2029-30.

The extension follows a career-best 2025-26 season for the 27-year-old, during which he averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. This performance marked a successful return to the court after Bey missed the entire 2024-25 season recovering from a torn ACL.

Bey, who joined the Pelicans via a three-team trade involving the Washington Wizards, remains under contract for the upcoming season at a rate of $6.44 million.
