Sadhguru shares spiritual insights on Navratri 2026

Sadhguru, founder of the Isha Foundation, has shared insights regarding the spiritual significance of Navratri 2026. The nine-day festival is dedicated to honoring the Divine Feminine, or Devi, through various forms including Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati.

Sadhguru emphasizes that Navratri should be a period of introspection and sincere devotion rather than just the performance of rituals. He describes devotion as a state where “life just flows through you as a certain sweetness and beauty.”

Addressing the concept of Shakti, Sadhguru explains that feminine energy is the fundamental force that drives both the atom and the cosmos. He notes that while feminine worship was once widespread across Europe, Arabia, and Africa, Indian culture remains a primary bastion for such traditions. He distinguishes between being female, which is a bodily attribute, and being feminine, which refers to a cosmic energy and movement.
