Sadie Sink cast as Jean Grey in Marvel Studios’ X-Men reboot

Marvel Studios has officially announced that Sadie Sink will portray Jean Grey in the upcoming X-Men reboot. The announcement was made during a D23 panel in Anaheim, California, where Sink expressed excitement about finally discussing the character after months of secrecy regarding her casting.

In addition to Sink, the studio revealed several key cast members for the project, including Kit Connor as Cyclops, Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, Maya Boyd as Storm, and Adam Driver as Nathaniel Milbury. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on May 5, 2028.

To mark the announcement at the Disney Entertainment Showcase, Sink wore an archival gown from Alexander McQueen’s spring 2004 Deliverance collection, featuring a patchwork design with butterfly wing prints.
