Sadie Sink cast in Marvel’s upcoming Spider‑Man: Brand New Day

Marvel and Sony have confirmed that Stranger Things star Sadie Sink will appear in the upcoming Spider‑Man film “Brand New Day,” slated for a summer 2026 theatrical release (July 31). Her role remains undisclosed, and the studio has not identified which character she will portray.

The secrecy follows the same approach used for 2021’s “Spider‑Man: No Way Home.” Producer Amy Pascal said Marvel is deliberately keeping major plot details hidden to preserve audience surprise. Fans have speculated that Sink could be playing the X‑Men mutant Jean Grey, but Marvel has not validated any specific rumor.

The movie is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo and Jacob Batalon. Sink noted she received the script after arriving in London and is aware of the hype surrounding her mysterious part.
