Sadie Sink on Secret Role and Tom Holland's Help in Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Actress Sadie Sink revealed details of her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the upcoming film Spider‑Man: Brand New Day. She said the role was offered without an audition, largely because she had previously worked with director Destin Daniel Cretton on The Glass Castle, and she did not receive the script until she arrived in London for shooting. Sink described Marvel’s scale as “a whole different beast” and noted that the fan base for Spider‑Man feels “huge”.

She praised co‑star Tom Holland for being “relaxed and open” and for making her transition onto the set feel welcoming, saying, “He could not have been more welcoming, and just the whole crew in general.” The film’s cast also includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo and others, and is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026.
