SADR and FIRA expand agricultural financing in Puebla

The Mexican Secretariat of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADR), in coordination with the Fideicomiso Instituido en Relación con la Agricultura (FIRA), has launched an information campaign to promote the ‘Cosechando Soberanía’ program in Puebla.

The initiative aims to strengthen food sovereignty by providing agricultural, livestock, and aquaculture producers with improved access to financing. Key benefits of the program include preferential credit conditions, agricultural insurance subsidies, and interest rate support of up to nine percentage points. These measures are intended to encourage investment in essential staple crops and support rural development in the region.
