Saeed Al‑Oulqi Memorial Draws Large Crowd in Aden

Deputy Governor of Aden, Mohamed Saeed Salem, praised the late cultural figure Saeed Ali Al‑Oulqi during a memorial held in the Culture Administration Hall. Salem said Al‑Oulqi “wins alive and dead,” highlighting his contributions to theater, literature, and national dignity. The event, organized under Governor Abdulrahman Sheikh, attracted a large gathering from early morning, including community committees led by Colonel Ali Al‑Namri and Secretary‑General Abdulrahman Al‑Shawi, as well as artists, journalists, and local officials.

Salem emphasized the public’s loyalty to Al‑Oulqi’s legacy and noted that while his body has passed, his spirit and work will continue to inspire future generations.
