SAFF Championship ticket sales to begin October 29

Tickets for the upcoming SAFF Football Championship will go on sale starting October 29, with online sales hosted by the ticketing platform ‘Tikify’ beginning this Thursday at 8:00 PM. A single ticket will grant access to two matches, with prices ranging from a minimum of 1,000 BDT to a maximum of 10,000 BDT.

The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and SAFF officials held a coordination meeting to discuss stadium security, gate management, and pitch conditions. While there has been some public dissatisfaction regarding ticket pricing, officials noted that the responsibility for setting prices lies with SAFF rather than the BFF.

SAFF General Secretary Purushottam Katel confirmed that India will participate in the tournament as scheduled. To facilitate international fans, SAFF is coordinating with member associations to assist with visa processes.

Preparations are underway for various training venues, including the Police Field, BUET Field, and Kings Arena. There is also potential for high-level government attendance, with discussions regarding the presence of the President at the opening ceremony and the Prime Minister at the final.
