Safie expands industrial safety tools with AI agent and IoT integration

Safie Inc. has announced several technological advancements aimed at improving safety and efficiency in industrial and construction environments through AI and IoT integration.

In collaboration with BONX Inc., Safie has launched a proof-of-concept (PoC) for the ‘Safie Report Agent’. This AI agent combines video from Safie’s cloud cameras with audio from the BONX WORK communication platform. The system uses generative AI to automatically record observations made during site patrols. For example, if a worker verbally reports a hazard, the agent captures the corresponding video and text, creating real-time reports without requiring manual documentation.

Additionally, Safie has partnered with NXTech Co., Ltd. to integrate its cloud camera series, including Safie GO and Safie Pocket, with the ‘Mimawari Denshobato’ environmental IoT system. When the IoT system detects hazardous environmental conditions—such as extreme heat (WBGT), high winds, or lightning—it sends a notification email to managers. This email includes a direct URL to the Safie camera feed, allowing for immediate visual verification of the site conditions to support rapid decision-making and safety management.
