Safran faces price target reductions from Jefferies and JPMorgan

Major financial institutions have lowered their price targets for Safran following recent quarterly results. Jefferies reduced its target from 340 to 300 euros, maintaining a ‘hold’ recommendation. Similarly, JPMorgan lowered its target from 460 to 410 euros while keeping a ‘buy’ rating.

The adjustments follow Safran's third-quarter 2026 report, which showed adjusted revenue of 9.003 billion euros, a 14.70 percent increase compared to the previous year. Despite this growth, analysts noted a deceleration in the civil engine aftermarket, with spare parts revenue growth slowing to 17.00 percent in the third quarter from higher rates earlier in the year.

Safran has confirmed its 2026 outlook, projecting revenue growth in the mid-teens and an adjusted operating income between 6.40 and 6.50 billion euros. The company also completed a 1.25 billion euro share buyback program during 2026.
