Safranbolu tourism operator aids lost 4-year-old child

In the Safranbolu district of Karabük, a 4-year-old boy named Aras Seyrek was found safe after wandering alone for approximately one hour in the historic bazaar area. Gülşen Yılmaz, a local tourism operator at Hafsa Sultan Konağı, noticed the child walking unaccompanied and intervened to ensure his safety.

Yılmaz brought the child to a secure area and provided comfort while waiting for police and security officers to arrive. The incident, captured on security cameras, gained significant attention on social media. Following his reunion with his family, Aras visited Yılmaz the next day with a bouquet of flowers to express his gratitude.

In recognition of her actions, the Safranbolu Tourism Operators Association (SAFDİT) presented Yılmaz with a plaque. Yılmaz emphasized the importance of vigilance in areas where children are present, noting that her maternal instincts prompted her to assist the child.
