Safrizal ZA receives Innovative Public Official Leader award

Safrizal ZA, Director General of Regional Administration at the Ministry of Home Affairs and Head of the Regional Command Post for the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Acceleration Task Force, has received the Innovative Public Official Leader award. The honor, presented in the Collaborative Leadership in Critical Times category at the 2026 Inovasi Membangun Negeri event by tvOne, recognizes his efforts in post-disaster recovery.

Safrizal was specifically recognized for his role in strengthening cross-sector coordination and fostering synergy between central and local governments to accelerate rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in Aceh. He emphasized a collaborative approach involving various ministries, local governments, the military, the police, and community volunteers to ensure recovery processes are responsive to affected populations.

Upon receiving the award, Safrizal stated that the recognition belongs to all parties involved in the recovery process rather than being a personal achievement. He noted that in critical situations, no single institution can work in isolation, and collaboration is essential to providing solutions and speeding up community recovery.
