NAGASE Cup 2026 announces special guests for inclusive athletics event

Nagase Sangyo Co., Ltd. has announced the special guests for the NAGASE Cup 2026, an inclusive athletics competition scheduled for September 21 and 22, 2026, at the MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) in Tokyo.

Comedian Yutaro Hamada, a former R-1 Grand Prix winner who is blind, and Masumi Yagi from the comedy duo Savannah will participate as special guests. They are expected to support the athletes and engage with visitors through various venue contents on September 21.

In anticipation of the event, a special dialogue was held featuring Hamada and Paralympic silver medalist blind runner Shinya Wada, along with guide runner Takumi Hasebe. The discussion covered high-level para-athletics techniques and the bond between the athletes.
