Saga Bank and Axtos win first national tennis titles in Sapporo

The 65th National Industrial Tennis Tournament, held from August 21 to 23 in Sapporo, concluded with first-time champions in both the men's and women's divisions.

In the men's category, Saga Bank secured its first national title. After advancing through the Kyushu qualifiers, the team overcame several opponents, including Seiko Epson and MUFG Bank. In the final against Kyushu Financial Group, Kotaro Anzai earned the Most Valuable Player award after a comeback victory in the singles match.

In the women's category, the Axtos Co., Ltd. tennis team achieved its first national championship. Competing against 24 teams from across Japan, the team maintained resilience through tough semi-finals and finals. Riko Kawade was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player.
