Saga City and Saga Ballooners donate basketball sets to nurseries

Saga City has partnered with the Saga Ballooners to donate indoor mini basketball goal and ball sets to local childcare facilities. The initiative aims to encourage physical activity and introduce children to the joy of sports.

Following a donation ceremony at Johoku Nursery School, children participated in lessons on how to use the equipment and practiced shooting. The city plans to continue this program, with 34 facilities receiving equipment in fiscal year 2024 and 15 in fiscal year 2025. For fiscal year 2026, five additional facilities in the city are scheduled to receive the sets.
