Saga City promotes local economy via Saga Ballooners' new league entry

Saga City has released a special feature in its municipal newsletter to coincide with the Saga Ballooners' entry into the new B. LEAGUE PREMIER basketball division. The initiative aims to leverage the team's transition to a world-standard league to stimulate local economic activity and community engagement.

To encourage residents to visit the city center during games, the city is offering several incentives, including free parking at designated lots for ticket holders and discount coupons for local shops. Additionally, the ‘BALooP’ campaign provides benefits such as free drinks or discounts at participating stores for fans wearing team colors or uniforms.

The city's efforts also extend to community development, including players visiting middle schools to speak about perseverance and providing sports clinics for parents and children.
