Saga Prefecture announces secondary sale of premium gift certificates

The Saga Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry has announced a secondary sale of ‘SAGA Premium Pay’ and ‘SAGA Premium Gift Certificates.’ This initiative aims to support residents facing rising prices and to stimulate local consumption to assist regional businesses. The program is supported by subsidies from Saga Prefecture using national priority support local allocation grants.

The application period for the secondary sale is scheduled from August 31, 2026, to September 6, 2026. For ‘SAGA Premium Pay,’ applications must be made via the dedicated mobile app. For the ‘SAGA Premium Gift Certificates,’ residents can apply through a web form or by submitting postcards to local chambers of commerce.

While the Saga area version of ‘SAGA Premium Pay’ is already sold out and will not be part of this secondary sale, certificates for nine other areas and various industry-specific certificates will be available. Individuals are limited to six sets per area or industry group for both electronic and paper versions.
