Saga TV launches eco-friendly illumination project in Saga City

Saga TV has launched a new illumination and projection mapping project in the Jonai area of Saga City. The initiative aims to create a warm, festive atmosphere to complement the existing ‘Saga Light Fantasy’ event in the nearby Tojinmachi district.

The display features projection mapping showcasing the station’s character, ‘Milanba-kun,’ on the Saga TV headquarters. To support environmental sustainability, the lights are powered by virtually renewable energy sourced through non-fossil certificates provided by Kyushu Electric Power.

The event is scheduled to run from October 16, 2026, through February 14, 2027, with displays active from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
