Sagawa Express to launch new luggage and delivery services in Japan

Sagawa Express is expanding its logistics and luggage services in Japan through new partnerships and facilities.

At Kansai International Airport, a new Sagawa Express luggage storage and delivery counter will open on November 1, 2026, at Aero Plaza 2F. The facility will offer same-day delivery, temporary luggage storage, wrapping services, and international shipping. The location near the Terminal 2 shuttle bus stop aims to improve convenience for travelers. The service will also integrate with overseas online travel agencies to allow domestic delivery arrangements during the booking process.

Additionally, a hands-free tourism service will begin on October 1, 2026, in Shiga Prefecture. This service allows travelers to drop off luggage at tourist information centers in Otsu and Katata stations, which will then be delivered to ten specific hotels and ryokans in Otsu via Sagawa Express. The service is designed to facilitate easier sightseeing by delivering bags directly to accommodations for a fee of 1,650 yen per item.
