Sagrada Família offers 20,000 free tickets for La Mercè festival

The Sagrada Família is offering 20,000 free tickets through a giveaway to celebrate La Mercè, the major festival of Barcelona. The winning participants will be able to visit the basilica during open house days held on September 24, 25, 26, and 27.

Interested individuals can enter the draw by completing a form on the temple’s official website between September 14 and September 20 at 9:00 PM. Winners will be notified starting September 20. Each winner will receive four tickets, which are non-transferable for sale but may be gifted.

The visit includes a tour of the Nativity facade, the interior of the basilica, the Liturgy Way, the museum, and the Passion facade. Additionally, visitors will have access to the exhibition ‘La força d’un somni compartit’, a photographic journey through key moments of the temple’s construction. This year, the courtyard will also feature three sculptures intended for the exterior of the Assumption Chapel: the figures of Saint Josep Oriol and Saint Roc, along with the four angels that will crown the dome. Please note that tower access and guided tours are not included; visitors may only use the downloadable audio guide.
