Sagrado Corazón film expands international release to Chile and Mexico

The French film ‘Sagrado Corazón: su reino no tendrá fin’ is expanding its international release following significant success in France, where it drew over half a million viewers. The production, directed by Steven and Sabrina Gunnell, explores 350 years of history centered on the 17th-century revelations of Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque in Paray-le-Monial.

In Chile, the film held a successful avant-premiere at Cinépolis La Reina, attended by approximately 400 people, including families, students, and influencers. The film is scheduled for a wider release in Chilean theaters on August 20. In Mexico, the film is set to premiere on August 27 in Cinépolis theaters.

While the film deals with religious themes of mercy and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, creators have presented it as a work for a general audience. It aims to address universal human experiences such as loneliness, uncertainty, and the search for hope, attracting viewers across various religious and secular backgrounds.
