Saher Nidal Sakr Noa Argamani Nuseirat refugee camp October 7 attacks IDF airstrike

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet announced the killing of Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr in an airstrike in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Sakr was identified as a terrorist affiliated with global jihadist organizations who was documented on camera during the October 7, 2023, attacks. Specifically, he was seen driving the motorcycle used to abduct Israeli civilians Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or from the Nova music festival.

Israeli authorities stated that Sakr had been supplying weapons to Hamas during the ongoing war and was involved in planning recent attacks against Israeli military personnel and civilians. The operation to eliminate him involved the IDF's undercover Gideonim Unit 33.

In a separate announcement, the IDF and Shin Bet confirmed the killing of Muhammad Hamad Muhammad Gabain, a Hamas military commander, in a strike in northern Gaza. Gabain was reportedly involved in the captivity of nine hostages abducted during the October 7 massacre.
