Sahith Theegala marries Juliana Chan in Maui

PGA Tour professional Sahith Theegala and influencer Juliana “Juju” Chan held a multicultural wedding celebration in Maui, Hawaii. The couple, who were both athletes at Pepperdine University, hosted 115 guests for a series of ceremonies that blended Indian, Hindu, Chinese American, and Hawaiian traditions.

The festivities included a Hindu ceremony on October 23 and a Western ceremony on October 24 at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. During the Hindu ceremony, Theegala wore an ivory kurta and dhoti, while Chan wore a red lehenga. For the Western ceremony, Theegala wore a black tuxedo and Chan wore a lace gown. The couple also wore custom Nike Air Force 1 sneakers personalized with “Mr. Juju” and “Mrs. Juju.”

Attendees included professional golfer Akshay Bhatia and Theegala’s longtime caddie, Carl Smith. The couple, who have been together for several years, chose Maui because it is a location they both frequent and consider their favorite place in the world.
