Sahrawi children welcomed in O Morrazo and Cáceres under Spain's Vacaciones en Paz program

In O Morrazo, the municipal council received 12 Sahrawi boys and girls who arrived as part of the Vacaciones en Paz programme run by the Solidariedade Galega association with the Sahrawi community. The children were given backpacks as a welcome gift and the town highlighted its role in hosting the summer camp.

Later, the group of Sahrawi children took part in an institutional day at the Diputación de Cáceres. The president of the provincial council praised the commitment of host families and reaffirmed official support for the Sahrawi cause, underscoring the region's ongoing solidarity with the displaced community.
