Sai Kishore leads Gloucestershire to 213-run win over Derbyshire

Indian spinner Sai Kishore led Gloucestershire to a 213-run victory over Derbyshire in a Rothesay County Championship Division Two match at Seat Unique Stadium. Kishore’s dominant second-innings performance saw him claim figures of 5-20, helping to collapse the Derbyshire batting lineup for just 105 runs. He finished the match with a total of seven wickets.

Gloucestershire’s win ended a six-match losing streak. The team’s performance was bolstered by a 210-run fourth-wicket partnership between Miles Hammond, who scored 118, and James Bracey, who finished unbeaten on 104. Bracey became the first Gloucestershire player to record two centuries in a single first-class match since 2007, and the first wicketkeeper to achieve the feat since 1919.

Derbyshire’s chase unraveled quickly after the tea interval, with Kishore taking two wickets in the opening over of the session. The victory earned Gloucestershire 19 points, while Derbyshire received three.
