Sai Pallavi to earn record fee as Sita in upcoming mega‑budget 'Ramayana' film

Actress Sai Pallavi has been cast as Sita in director Nitesh Tiwari’s two‑part, high‑budget mythological film "Ramayana". For the role she will receive a total fee of ₹12 crore (₹6 crore per part), the highest remuneration of her career and reportedly more than double her usual charge of ₹2.5‑3 crore.

The project, said to have a budget of around ₹4,000 crore, also stars Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana. Pallavi, known for turning down multi‑crore endorsement offers on principle, previously rejected a ₹2 crore fairness‑cream advertisement, citing personal values.

Her involvement is expected to boost the film’s profile and marketability, given her reputation for selective role choices and strong fan following across South Indian and Bollywood cinema.
