Said Aldi Al Idrus discusses Golkar youth regeneration with BMK 57

Said Aldi Al Idrus, the Head of Youth and Sports for the Golkar Party, held a strategic meeting with Barisan Muda Kosgoro 1957 (BMK 57) in Bandungan, Central Java. The meeting focused on youth regeneration strategies and strengthening the role of the younger generation in politics.

The gathering followed the BMK 57 Grand Deliberation (Mubes), where Rizki Maulana was elected by acclamation as the new chairman, succeeding Kemas Ilham Akbar. This initiative aligns with directives from Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia to use 2026 as a year for party consolidation toward the Indonesia Gold 2045 vision.

Said Aldi highlighted that digital disruption has changed how young people perceive politics, often preferring hobby-based or social communities over conventional political organizations. He advocated for a transformation in recruitment, suggesting the use of creative, educational, and easy-to-understand digital content to engage Gen Z and Millennials through more flexible and communicative approaches.
