Said Cem Milli adopts ecological lifestyle in historic Malatya mansion

Said Cem Milli, a 46-year-old former turnip juice wholesaler from Adana, has transitioned to an ecological lifestyle in the Darende district of Malatya. After 30 years in the city, Milli decided to leave urban life due to physical and psychological exhaustion and health issues.

Milli has moved into a three-century-old family mansion, built between 1725 and 1730, which he restored to its original state. He now practices sustainable living by growing vegetables with heirloom seeds, practicing beekeeping, and raising poultry. He produces much of his own food, including making his own bread using wheat he processes himself.
